Story has always been at the center of my work. I am a screenwriter, novelist, and educator whose work explores the craft and structure of narrative across media. My creative projects include documentary and narrative film work, fiction writing, and educational media, all grounded in a deep interest in how stories shape the way we understand the world.
Before moving into media production and screenwriting, I completed a Ph.D. in medieval literature, where I studied the narrative traditions that continue to influence storytelling today. My research and creative work often explore the connections between ancient narrative patterns and modern storytelling—from epic poetry and medieval romance to contemporary science fiction and film.
In addition to my creative work, I have taught courses on literature, storytelling, and screenwriting at the university level and have led workshops for writers and storytellers of all ages. My teaching focuses on helping students understand storytelling not only as an art but as a craft shaped by structure, pattern, and intentional design.
I am currently developing a framework called Story Math, which explores how principles such as order, proportion, pattern, harmony, and relation shape the stories we tell. Through both teaching and creative work, my goal is to help storytellers understand the deeper structures that make narratives meaningful and memorable.
